CCT has been officially approved to operate its own physical UK ETS account and from end of August 2023, we will start publishing our first collateral report. Our collateral report will be audited quarterly and we will publish 1st audited report by Q4 2023.
We commit each CCT is backed by 1kg UK/EU ETS Permit. You can find more details about our commitment on our token holder agreement.
ETS has been proved as one of the most effective method to reduce Carbon emissions. Currently, this market is only available to large companies and in theory through buying CCT, the holder is able to affect the price of UK Carbon Permits to make it more expensive for some of the largest polluters in the world to emit Carbon.
